Twins' Hector Santiago: Confirmed for Monday start

Santiago (thumb) will officially start Monday against the Indians, Phil Miller of the Star Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Santiago had his last start skipped after experiencing a thumb injury, but he's now set to return for Monday's tilt. The lefty has taken the loss in each of his last four starts and has been hit especially hard in his last two -- yielding a total of 15 runs on 20 hits over just 8.2 innings -- so he'll be looking to right the ship this time out.
