Tigers' Jose Iglesias: Returns from disabled list

Iglesias (hamstring) was activated off the 15-day disabled list Saturday, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

The Tigers designated Alex Presley for assignment Saturday in order to clear a spot for Iglesias on the active roster. Iglesias' return may not tip the scales much for the Tigers offensively, but having his glove back at shortstop will be a huge boon to their infield defense. Andrew Romine and Erick Aybar stand to see a severe reduction in playing time with Iglesias back in the fold.
