Red Sox's Brock Holt: Starting in left field Friday

Holt is in the lineup Friday against the Royals, Evan Drellich of the Boston Herald reports.

With Andrew Benintendi being placed on the DL, Holt will start in left field and bat ninth Friday evening. Holt has yet to find his groove at the plate this season and is hitting just .251/.317/.381.
