White Sox's Matt Davidson: Out for season
Davidson (foot) will be out for the rest of the season, Dan Hayes of CSN Chicago reports.
Analysis:
Davidson appeared in just one game this season, going 1-for-2 with an RBI on June 30 before breaking his foot in that contest. An exact recovery timetable remains unclear, but given that he went under the knife for surgery at the beginning of July, the 25-year-old figures to be back at full health by the start of spring training.
