Red Sox's Clay Buchholz: Moving back to bullpen

Buchholz will move back into a bullpen role, Jason Mastrodonato of the Boston Herald reports.

Analysis:

Filling in for the injured Steven Wright and Eduardo Rodriguez, Buchholz showed improvement in his latest stint in the rotation, working to a 2.70 ERA over three starts -- including a nine-strikeout performance his last time out. With Rodriguez set to return though, the 32-year-old will head back to the bullpen, where he's been effective to the tune of a 3.20 ERA. He remains a candidate for spot starts going forward.
