The Miami Marlins scratched Andrew Cashner from his Sunday start as the right-hander is dealing with a blister on his finger.
Justin Nicolino will start in his place. The left-hander is 2-5 with a 5.57 ERA in 12 starts this season.
After a rocky start to his tenure in Miami, Cashner has been excellent of late. He's allowed just a pair of runs over his last two starts while striking out five in 11 innings.
The Marlins dropped Saturday's game to the San Diego Padres 1-0 and will be seeking a series split when Nicolino takes the mound.
