Yankees' Masahiro Tanaka: Extends winning streak to four games Wednesday

Tanaka (11-4) tossed seven scoreless innings, allowing six hits and one walk while striking out five Mariners in Wednesday's win.

Analysis:

For the second consecutive game, and fourth time this season, Tanaka pitched seven or more scoreless innings. The Japanese star has now won four straight contests while lowering his ERA to 3.11, its lowest mark in more than a month. During the winning streak, Tanaka has posted a 1.66 ERA while tallying 30 strikeouts over 27.2 innings. He'll look to keep things rolling when he takes the hill for his next start in Kansas City on Tuesday.
