Cubs' Kris Bryant: Homers in win over Padres
Bryant homered, scored twice, walked twice, and knocked in two runs in a 1-for-2 game Tuesday against the Padres.
Analysis:
Bryant extended his hitting streak to six games, a span in which he is hitting an utterly absurd .481/.500/1.074 with five homers and 13 RBI. If Bryant goes on to win the MVP, his ability to go on hot streaks like this one will be the reason why. He now has 33 home runs and trails only Mark Trumbo and Edwin Encarnacion on the major league leaderboard.
