Blue Jays' Kevin Pillar: Activated from DL

Pillar (thumb) was activated from the disabled list Tuesday, Barry Davis of Sportsnet reports.

Analysis:

15 days after going onto the DL, Pillar has been activated and is eligible to play Tuesday against the Angels. However, Pillar's numbers haven't been stellar this season, as he owns a subpar .261/.292/.385 line. With Pillar being activated, the Blue Jays have optioned Ryan Tepera to Triple-A Buffalo.
