Padres' Jabari Blash: Placed on 15-day disabled list
Blash has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a sprained left middle finger.
Analysis:
The move was retroactive to August 19, so Blash will be eligible to return by Sept. 3. He has been unable to grip a bat due to the injury, but it's unclear whether it's serious enough that he'll require more than the minimum time on the disabled list.
