Blue Jays' Aaron Sanchez: Continues stellar season with Saturday win

Sanchez (12-2) gave up two earned runs on five hits and three walks over seven innings in Saturday's 4-2 victory over the Astros. He struck out six and lowered his ERA to 2.84 in the process.

Analysis:

Outside of the two-run double he gave up to Carlos Correa in the first, Sanchez was his typically dominant self. Sanchez now has quality starts in eight of his last 10 trips to the mound, and has rattled off victories in 11 of his last 12 decisions. He'll look to continue his success when he takes on the Indians next Saturday, as the Jays continue their six-man rotation.
