Escobar left the yard for the second time this season to give the Royals a three-run lead in the fifth inning of a game they held on to win. This was his first multi-hit effort since July 18, and he's now slashing .253/.279/.310. After putting together solid seasons in 2014 and 2015, his slash line numbers have declined across the board in 2016.
