Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw: Moved to 60-day DL

Kershaw (back) has been moved to the 60-day DL, making him ineligible to return until August 27.

Analysis:

With this move, Kershaw will remain out of action until at least the end of August. Kershaw has yet to resume throwing, so he still has a ways to go before he's ready to return. The acquisition of 36-year-old Rich Hill will help alleviate the Dodgers' pain of being without Kershaw, and the club will continue to be careful before bringing their three-time Cy Young winner back to action.
