Indians Twitter account takes credit for Miller trade

Cleveland Indians / Twitter

The power of social media knows no bounds.

The city of Cleveland was buzzing Sunday morning after the Indians swung a blockbuster trade to acquire All-Star closer Andrew Miller from the New York Yankees. Though President of Baseball Operations Chris Antonetti or general manager Mike Chernoff were very likely the ones responsible for bringing Miller to "The Land," a different member of the team's off-field staff - those behind the Indians' hilarious Twitter account - decided to take credit for making the move happen.

If those social media gurus have that much sway, perhaps the Indians should recruit them to go and convince Jonathan Lucroy to waive his no-trade clause and accept a trade to the club.
