Twins' Max Kepler: Blasts AL-leading eighth homer of July

Kepler went 2-for-3 with a walk, solo home run, two RBI and two runs Thursday against the Orioles.

Analysis:

The outfielder's 11th dinger of the season tied the game 2-2 in the bottom of the sixth and kick started the 6-2 comeback victory. Kepler's average has dipped a bit this month, but he's more than compensated for that by unloading for an AL-leading eight home runs in July. The rookie out of Germany seems to be putting it all together right in time for the fantasy playoff season.
