This is a tough break for Bourjos, who has been scorching hot over his last 40 games, hitting .316/.357/.496 with three home runs, 11 RBI and 22 runs. The 29-year-old will focus on rehabbing his shoulder while outfielder Aaron Altherr is activated from the 60-day DL in a corresponding move. Altherr should serve as the Phillies' starting right fielder for the foreseeable future.
