Nationals' Ryan Zimmerman: Activated from disabled list

Zimmerman has been activated from the DL on Tuesday, Chelsea Janes of the Washington Post reports.

Analysis:

Zimmerman should regain his starting spot at first base for the Nationals upon his return. During his last rehab appearance on Saturday, Zimmerman homered and collected three RBI for High-A Potomac. Zimmerman struggled in 74 games with the Nationals before going on the disabled list, hitting just .221/.284/.402.
