Astros' Mike Fiers: Earns seventh victory of 2016 on Sunday

Fiers (7-4) allowed three runs on nine hits while striking out two over seven innings to earn the win Sunday against the Angels.

Analysis:

Fiers was provided an eight-run lead in the second inning as he cruised to his seventh victory of 2016. After allowing 10 runs in his last seven innings coming into this game, he turned things around nicely and lowered his ERA to 4.69. He'll make his next start Saturday at the Tigers.
