Phillies' Cesar Hernandez: Plates a pair in Saturday loss
Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI singles in Saturday's 7-4 loss to the Pirates.
Analysis:
Hernandez broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring single that plated Freddy Galvis in the second, and then drove in Cody Asche in the fifth to snap a 2-2 deadlock. The 26-year-old now has eight multi-hit outings in July and is hitting .313 in what could shape up as his most successful month of the season to date.
