Giants' Joe Panik: Checks out fine in evaluation

Panik (concussion) was evaluated again Saturday and checked out fine, Alex Pavlovic of CSN Bay Area reports.

Analysis:

There was a bit of a scare Thursday when Panik was held out of the lineup at Triple-A Sacramento because he "didn't feel good," according to manager Bruce Bochy. However, it sounds as though Panik did not experience a recurrence of his concussion symptoms, as he's expected to work out on the side for now and return to live action in just a couple days.
