Royals' Danny Duffy: Continues dominance Friday versus Rangers

Duffy (6-1) pitched 6.2 innings Friday, allowing one run, four hits and two walks while striking out four Rangers in the win.

Analysis:

Duffy continued the dominance he's shown through most of his starts this season. Despite beginning the season as a reliever, Duffy has made the most of his starting role and is now on pace to win double-digit games for the first time in his six-year career. The southpaw's only mistake Friday was a solo shot given up to Rougned Odor, who is third in homers among AL second baseman. Duffy has been a pleasant surprise this year and unless he falters, owners should feel safe deploying him regardless of the matchup.
