Orioles' Chris Davis: Dealing with illness, could be available
Davis is out of the lineup Monday due to an illness, Eduardo Encina of the Baltimore Sun reports.
Analysis:
Davis checked into a local hospital Sunday night with a virus, but he's said to be doing much better Monday. Manager Buck Showalter went so far as to tell the media that there's a chance Davis could be available as a pinch hitter, but there's no guarantee on that front. With Davis out, Ryan Flaherty will get the starting nod at first base.
