Kershaw took another step forward by throwing from 120 feet after playing catch at normal distance on Wednesday. He'll likely advance to bullpen sessions and simulated games in the coming weeks as he gains his strength. Manager Dave Roberts said that the ace could return without a rehab assignment depending on how well his recovery goes. Even without a rehab assignment, however, he's still a couple of weeks away from rejoining the Dodgers.
