Orioles' Hyun Soo Kim: Smacks third homer in Thursday loss

Kim went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and two RBI overall in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Mariners.

Analysis:

The Korean rookie's stellar season continues, with his slash line rising to .344/.433/.484 following Thursday's production. Kim also extended his hitting streak to six games and turned in a multi-hit effort for the third time in the last four contests. The long ball was encouraging as well, as power has been about the only missing element in the 28-year-old's offensive arsenal to date at the major league level after he blasted 28 homers in 2015 in the KBO. He closes out June with an outstanding .333/.422/.486 line and a .500 average (7-for-14) over his last four starts.
