Freese went 2-for-5 with a solo home run -- his seventh of the season -- during Wednesday's 8-1 win at Seattle.
Analysis:
On a night when the top of the Pirates' lineup struggled (2-for-15), Freese delivered as the cleanup hitter. The 33-year-old is hitting .287/.361/.448 with seven homers and 32 RBI this season, however, he's just 10-for-42 (.238) over the last 14 days.
