Braves' Joel De La Cruz: Pitches well in debut, rewarded with another start
After posting a quality start in his major league debut Wednesday against the Indians, he will receive another turn in the rotation Monday against the Phillies, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
Analysis:
It was a solid debut for the 27-year-old hurler, but he added just one strikeout over six innings while allowing three runs on seven hits. The effort was enough to earn him another start, but it seems unlikely he has long term viability in that role.
