Padres' Alex Dickerson: Called up by Padres

Dickerson was recalled by the Padres on Tuesday.

Analysis:

With Jon Jay (forearm) landing on the disabled list Tuesday, Dickerson was recalled to add some depth to the Padres outfield. Dickerson leads the Pacific Coast League in both average (.382) and OPS (1.047) in 217 at-bats with El Paso this season. He slashed .200/.200/.500 in 10 at-bats with the big club earlier this season.
