Yankees' Carlos Beltran: Out until at least the weekend

Beltran (hamstring) is not in Wednesday's lineup and is unlikely to play Thursday either, ESPN's Wallace Matthews reports.

Analysis:

While Beltran is listed as available on Wednesday's lineup card, Matthews says it is unclear if he is available to pinch hit. Manager Joe Girardi said it is concerning that the hamstring is still an issue for Beltran, and the team will hope that a couple days off does the trick. Aaron Hicks should start in right field until Beltran is able to return.
