Phillies' Maikel Franco: Homers in win over Diamondbacks
Franco homered, a solo shot, in a 2-for-5 game in Tuesday's win over the Diamondbacks.
Analysis:
Franco is up to 13 home runs now and is just one away from tying his career high, set last season in 80 games. Strikeouts have been a minor issue -- he added two more to give him 56 on the season (18.6 percent strikeout rate) -- but a .261 BABIP has been the bigger drag on Franco's overall .246/.306/.441. He posted a .297 BABIP in 2015, and if he can return to that mark, he'll be back to being one of the better third basemen in the National League.
