Despite passing concussions tests on three straight days after getting hit in the head June 18, San Francisco Giants second baseman Joe Panik will undergo additional testing after experiencing concussion-like symptoms Monday, manager Bruce Bochy said.

"We'll have more tests done and see where we're at," Bochy told Alex Pavlovic of the Bay Area News Group. "He can feel something ... Last night, they talked about it. Today we checked on him and he feels a little something there so we need to get it checked out."

Scratched from the lineup Tuesday in Oakland, the 25-year-old has struggled a bit since taking that Matt Moore offering off his head, hitting just .212/.278/.303 with no home runs in his last eight games.

"He was feeling great," Bochy said. "We wouldn't have played him if he didn't have symptoms."

An All-Star for the first time last year, Panik owns a .728 OPS (97 OPS+) with seven homers and five stolen bases in 70 games this season, compiling more WAR than all but eight second basemen.
