Angels' Yunel Escobar: Not in Tuesday's lineup

Escobar (knee) will remain out of the lineup Tuesday against the Astros, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.

Analysis:

Escobar will be out for the fifth straight game as he continues to recover from a bone bruise on his left knee. In his place, Gregorio Petit will get the start at third while batting seventh Tuesday. In the event that Escobar has still not made much progress with the injury in the next couple days, the Angels may place him on the disabled list.
