Tigers' Anibal Sanchez: Moves back to bullpen

Sanchez has been moved back to the bullpen, Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Analysis:

Sanchez got to make his case to return to the rotation Saturday but he did not fare well, allowing four runs on five hits (including two homers) in five innings against Cleveland to push his ERA back over 6.00. The long ball has done Sanchez in over the past two seasons, with the right-hander allowing 45 home runs since the start of 2015. He's due nearly $17 million again in 2017.
