Red Sox's Brandon Workman: Throws bullpen session

Workman (elbow) threw a bullpen session in Tampa Bay on Monday, Peter Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Analysis:

Workman said he was pleased with how the session went as he continues to recover from Tommy John surgery 12 months ago. After having his rehab shut down due to fatigue, it seems he is back on track for a minor league assignment soon.
