Royals' Alex Gordon: Activated from DL

Gordon was officially activated from the disabled list Saturday.

Analysis:

As expected, Gordon will rejoin the Royals after missing more than a full month with a sprained right wrist. Kansas City hasn't yet released a lineup for Saturday's matchup with the Astros, but it's certainly possible that Gordon could return to action immediately. In a corresponding move, the Royals optioned Brett Eibner to Triple-A Omaha.
