Marlins' Derek Dietrich: Not in lineup
Dietrich is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest with the Cubs, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.
Analysis:
Dietrich will get an off day with lefty Jon Lester on the mound for the Cubs. Dietrich has historically been awful against lefties, batting .244, .178, and .143 against southpaws the last three seasons. Miguel Rojas, who's batting .375 against left-handers this year, will get the start at second base Thursday.
