Harper pays homage to legendary Vin Scully

From one baseball great, to a soon to be baseball great.

Before the Los Angeles Dodgers played host to the Washington Nationals on Wednesday, there was a special encounter between two of baseball's most prolific names.

Bryce Harper went up into the booth to pay a visit to legendary Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully.

"I remember growing up turning on the television and or radio broadcast hearing the amazing and wonderful voice of Mr. Scully talking not only about the players numbers or how they were doing that year, but the stories of life and beyond that," Harper said in an Instagram post.

This is the last time the Nationals play at Dodger Stadium this season, and presumably the last time this encounter will ever happen again.
