Pirates' Jung Ho Kang: Out of lineup Thursday
Kang is not in the lineup Thursday against Colorado.
Analysis:
Kang will sit in place of David Freese, who gets the nod at third base Thursday. It appears to be just a routine rest day as the Pirates like to give him a breather every three or four games, possibly to lighten his load as a he returns from a serious knee injury that forced him to miss the first month of the season. He'll likely be back in the fold Friday when Pittsburgh begins a series with St. Louis.
