Royals' Eric Hosmer: On base three times in Tuesday loss

The 26-year-old has how hit safely in 11 of the last 13 games, and has already drawn six free passes in the first seven games of June. Hosmer is turning in his most well-rounded season at the plate yet, now slashing .321/.379/.523 over 218 at-bats, with 12 doubles, a triple, 10 homers and 35 RBI. He's well on pace to surpass his career-high of 19 round-trippers, a figure he reached back in his rookie campaign in 2011.
