Astros' Dallas Keuchel: Continues struggles versus Texas
Keuchel fell to 3-8 Tuesday versus Texas, allowing four runs on 10 hits across 7.1 innings. He struck out eight.
Analysis:
Keuchel actually pitched quite well Tuesday, tying a season-high in punchouts and pitching into the eighth inning for just the second time, but he allowed a two-run home run to Ian Desmond with one out in the eight that ultimately decided the game. The left-hander continues to struggle versus the Rangers, as he now has a 8.75 ERA in his last four starts versus the in-state foe. He will look to get back on track Sunday at the Rays.
