Pirates' David Freese: Out again Sunday

Freese (hand) remains out of the lineup Sunday against the Angels.

Analysis:

Freese was struck in the hand with a pitch Thursday, and hasn't seen an at-bat for the Pirates since. He'll effectively be held out of the starting lineup for the third straight contest, and it looks like the injury is to blame, as he'd normally be starting against a left-handed pitcher. Instead, Sean Rodriguez will man first base for the afternoon contest.
