Angels' Jhoulys Chacin: Strikes out 10 in complete game victory

Chacin (1-1) struck out 10 and earned his first win with the Angels behind a complete game, allowing just one run on four hits Monday against the Tigers.

Analysis:

Chacin lost the shutout on a sacrifice fly in the ninth inning, but was nonetheless utterly dominant. He drew 17 swinging strikes and nine groundouts and didn't allow a hit until the sixth inning. Chacin's Angels ERA is down to 3.42 and he now has three quality starts in his four appearances with his new club, which should at least have AL-only fantasy owners sniffing around.
