Giants' Denard Span: Returns to action Sunday
As expected, Span (hip) is back in the starting lineup Sunday against the Rockies.
Analysis:
Span was a late scratch Saturday due to a bruised hip, but that won't keep him out of action for more than one contest. He'll return to center field and bat leadoff Sunday, moving Gregor Blanco over to left with Hunter Pence in right.
