Reds' Blake Wood: Wins in relief role

Wood (4-1) pitched two scoreless innings against the Brewers on Saturday, in which he allowed two hits with two strikeouts.

Analysis:

Wood hasn't been able to handle a late-inning relief role when given the chance, but he's been pretty solid in a less stressful role. Wood lowered his ERA to a respectable 3.91 in 25.1 innings, but he needs to decrease the walks (16 so far) to be even more effective.
