Giants' Denard Span: Scratched from lineup

Span has been scratched from Saturday's lineup, Andrew Baggarly of CSN Bay Area reports.

Analysis:

The reason for the decision is not yet known, but Span will take a seat as Gregor Blanco moves over from left field to center. Blanco will also slot in atop the lineup, with Jarrett Parker taking over in left field and batting eighth.
