Indians' Trevor Bauer: Gives Tribe six innings in no-decision against Baltimore
Bauer allowed three runs on nine hits, walking two and striking out four over six innings, but wound up with a no-decision in a game the Orioles would eventually win 6-4 Friday night.
Analysis:
It was something of a "bend but don't break" outing for Bauer who needed 103 pitches (65 for strikes) to cover the six innings. He has flashed glimpses of the skill set that made him a top prospect during May, but has yet to turn the corner, and take the next step in performance consistency. He'll take on the Rangers at home in his next scheduled start.
