Cubs' Jon Lester: Bounces back in win over Phillies

Lester (5-3) allowed two runs (one earned) on six hits Friday, walking two and striking out seven over 6.1 innings of a 6-2 win over Philadelphia.

Analysis:

Lester was coming off his worst outing of the year - five runs in 2.2 innings against the Giants - but he bounced back nicely, and kept the Phillies in check while tossing 69 of 105 pitches for strikes. He dropped his ERA back to 2.48 on the year, and will look to continue his winning ways when he takes on the Dodgers in Chicago next time out.
