Rangers' Shawn Tolleson: Placed on family medical emergency list

Tolleson (personal) was placed on the Family Medical Emergency List on Friday, Rangers VP of Communications John Blake reports.

Analysis:

Per MLB rules, Tolleson will miss a minimum of three days and a maximum of seven days while he is away from the team to deal with an illness in his family. Juckson Profar was recalled from Triple-A Round Rock on Friday and will bat leadoff against the Pirates.
