The Colorado Rockies have moved struggling left-hander Jorge De La Rosa to the bullpen after he gave up seven runs and nine hits in 3 1/3 innings on Tuesday night.
De La Rosa, who saw his ERA balloon to 11.41, will be replaced by Chris Rusin, according to the Denver Post's Patrick Saunders.
De La Rosa's only posted an ERA below 4.0 in two of his 13 seasons, owning a career 4.68 ERA and .543 win percentage. This is his worst beginning to a season: He's dropped to 1-4 in six starts, giving up 30 runs in 23 2/3 innings pitched.
