Marlins' Christian Yelich: Remains out for fifth game in a row

Yelich (back) remains out of the lineup Wednesday against the Rays, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

This marks the fifth game in a row that Yelich will sit out of. He could be available off the bench as a pinch hitter, but it's more likely that he'll wait to return to the field either for the series finale Thursday or else sometime over the weekend against the Braves. Regardless, Cole Gillespie will take his spot in left field for Wednesday's interleague contest.
