Cubs' Jason Heyward: Still uncertain about return
Heyward (hip) said that he felt much better after taking part in Monday's batting practice, although he's still unsure about a return during Chicago's current series against St. Louis, Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Analysis:
With an off day coming Thursday, it would be enticing to allow Heyward four days of added rest while only missing three games. However, it seems that he will meet with the trainers and decide on an exact timeline for return, which could be as early as Tuesday.
